Judge Richard Mills Mediation & Arbitration Scholarship Fund

The Honorable Richard Mills Scholarship in Mediation/Arbitration was created by the Longshore and DBA community to honor Judge Mills, a well-loved and respected figure in the legal world. This scholarship is awarded to a Loyola University New Orleans law student who earns the highest grade in the Mediation/Arbitration class, encouraging excellence in this important area of law. The scholarship is funded by an endowment, meaning it will be given out every year using the interest earned. The recipient is recognized at the CLE Longshore conference, helping to keep Judge Mills' memory and impact alive.
